This five hour workshop focuses the shooter on smooth and efficient handgun manipulation mechanics including a quick and reliable draw, efficient reloads, proper handling of malfunctions, search and ready positions, shooting on the move, use of cover and concealment, and engagement priority and sequence. Class check-in begins at 11am in Classroom A, with training starting at 11:30am. Range training will conclude prior to 5pm.
Students should bring their concealed carry handgun and permit, holster, magazines, magazine pouches (if carried), and a sturdy belt for their equipment. Expect to shoot about 300-400 rounds of ammunition. You’re welcome to bring your own ammunition, and it is also available in our Pro Shop.
Upon completion, students receive a graduation certificate and an intermediate (Level II-III) pistol qualification pocket card.
